A Smart check-out is a web- and app-based process that provides your guests with a seamless departure as the administrative formalities are handled after the guest has departed.
The guest triggers a request for his Smart check-out web-based or via the conichi or HRS app. The guest is able to declare additional items or services they consumed, such as coke cola from the minibar and select his preferred credit card with which the payment will be settled. The guest is then able to depart from the hotel, without stopping by reception.
The Smarthotel will receive the check-out request via the Hotelier app and can settle any outstanding charges at a convenient time.
How to settle the charges:
Take the the hotelier app and view the guest profile in your PMS, if there are any outstanding charges that require settlement (restaurant, spa, bar etc.), enter the total amount and charge the guest credit card in the hotelier app. Both the guest and hotel will receive a confirmation of payment by email.
Lasty, create the guest invoice with the billing address requested by the guest and send it to the guest a PDF via email on the day of departure.
